***IMPORTANT - WE ARE MOVING***
Beginning May 1, 2026, we will be at a new location. The address is:
2255 11th Street, Suite B, Mandeville, LA 70471
We will still offer the same great programs and will honor gift certificates purchased at the N. Vermont location. The decision to relocate was made simply to find a larger space with off-street parking so that we could better serve our community. Feel free to contact Vanessa Hock with any questions at vhock@thelittlepottershouse.com.
You’re going to love our new home!

Adult Wheel Throwing Classes
Wheel throwing sessions are held once a week for four weeks. With small class sizes, students will enjoy individual guidance based on their skill level. In the first two classes of the session, students will learn the basics - making items such as mugs, bowls and plates. The experienced potter will explore more advanced skills. On average students can make 4-6 pieces in these two classes. In the third class students will trim and add finishing touches. The last class and final step is to brush on the glazes. Finished pieces will be kiln fired and will be available to pick up within 2 weeks. All supplies are included. To see a list of sessions offered and to register, click the “Classes” tab on the top menu.
Workshops
For a taste of what we offer in our 4-week sessions, we reserve Friday nights for friends or family groups to experience two-or- three-day workshops (2 or 3 Fridays in a row). Reservations in advance are required and can be made online. These workshops are great fun and are the only classes we offer that are open to ages 5 and up with an adult present. Click the “Workshops” tab for details and to schedule your own workshop.
Co-op Membership
For the experienced independent artist, we offer a co-op membership. Under this program, artists pay a monthly fee and enjoy use of the studio space and equipment - worktables, pottery wheels, a slab roller, etc. - during open studio times. The artist provides tools, glazes and studio-approved clay and The Little Potter’s House does the kiln firing. A limited number of firings are included in the monthly fee. Click the “Co-op” tab for studio times and details.
Gift Cards
We offer digital gift cards you can purchase right here on the website as well as hard copy gift cards in envelopes that you can purchase in the studio. These are a great gift option as they can be applied towards any of our classes or workshops and even towards pottery purchases in our members gallery. Click the “Gift Cards” tab for details.
Gift Shop
The Little Potter’s House supports it’s co-op artists by offering a place to exhibit and sell their works of art on our website and in the studio year round as well as at our special art markets. Click the “Shop” tab to view a sampling of pottery and stop by the studio to shop and support your local artists.
